Springman Attea PTA Needs You!
The Springman Attea PTA has several open positions and we would love for you to join us! We want to build a strong, diverse PTA so that we can provide the best opportunities for our students and we need your help. Please email spatpta[at]gmail.com if you are interested in a vacant position.
Vice President - Attea

Teacher Grants - Springman
Dining for Dollars - 1 position for both schools
Parent Education
Student Events

Vice President: Great for a parent with children who will be in middle school through the 2024-25 school year. The VP will assume the 2 year president role for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 school years. Big role with big input into middle school programs for students. VP will assist the co-presidents and learn the role of president.
Teacher Grants: Grant Chairs will lead the process that includes reviewing requests made by teachers and staff, and recommending expenditures of PTA funds for the benefit of both schools. This position is for the remainder of this school year and can be continued during the 2022-23 school year.

Dining for Dollars: Responsible for organizing and implementing monthly dining fundraisers for the middles school community. This position is for the remainder of this school year and can be continued during the 2022-23 school year.

Parent Education: Work with co-presidents to plan speakers for the PTA community. Communicate information regarding education programs and opportunities to the parent community. This position is for the remainder of this school year and can be continued during the 2022-2023 school year.

Student Events: Work with co-presidents and middle school student councils to plan events for middle school students as covid guidelines allow (ie - dances, activity nights, movie nights, festivals, etc.) Communicate information regarding events to the community. This position is for the remainder of this school year, and can be continued during the 2022-23 school year.
